Secret fund files stolen mysteriously from under Sherry's nose

ISLAMABAD: Struggling to counter bureaucratic conspiracies and moves since its inception in March this year, infant democratic government led by Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) received another blow when seven secret fund files of Information Ministry (IM) were stolen in mysterious circumstances here on Monday. According to official sources in the information ministry, the secret files were containing names of all the journalists, writers and columnists, getting hefty funds under ministry’s secret fund heads. The incident took place on Monday in the office of Ali Suleman Abbasi, Additional Secretary, when officials learned that the 7 important secret files go missing. High ups of the information ministry immediately ordered to lock up the office area and launched an extensive search but to vain, said sources.
