The Long March is underway. The barricades are in place. Let us pray and hope that no suicide bomber hijacks the protest. Al Qaeda is being squeezed everywhere except in Afghanistan and Pakistan's wild North West. If Al Qaeda and their Pakistani proxies, the Taliban extremists succeed in creating chaos in the progress of this march then there will be no winner. Only one loser - Pakistan as we know will suffer irreparably! If ever there was time for vigilance, moderation, self control and prayers, it is this moment.


Parliament main hurdle: Aitzaz. What irony. The people elected the parliament on February 18, 2008. . The elected parliament is supposed to be supreme. Yet the Pakistani Parliament is made a puppet by the unelected Aitezaz Ahsan, the unelected Sharif, and the the unelected Zardari in league with the electronic media.
