Baithak World Mar 05: Salman Rushdie's antics and other Headlines

Salman Rushdie is a spotlight whore - or so it seems. He seldom misses an opportunity to provide "soundbites" or "newsbites" that will propel his name in the headlines. His flip flops are in a yawning league of their own. He apologized, recanted, recanted recantation, recanted....now this.... he will say anything: how the fatwa made me a much nicer man

And the pity is he is a good writer. OK that is imho.
