Will This Happen In Pakistan?
If Pakistan slides in further chaos and the extremists gain ascendancy in the name of Islam then we can expect civilians like Margaret Hassan pay with their lives by the thousands.
I am not being unduly alarmist. These Cuckoos who think they have a direct link with Allah have shown no compassion nor understanding. Ironically, they think they are true Muslims, and others like you and me are astray and need to be guided back (read beaten back) into the fold. My way or the highway is their motto. They conveniently forget or ignore that judging a Muslim's conduct is Allah's domain.

If you bothered to read the article, you would see that Fisk questions whether a Muslim extremist, OR SOMEONE ELSE killed Margaret.

With you-know-who burning down girls schools, trying to impose THEIR VERSION of shariah, their lack of respect for the lives of fellow Muslims, a penchant for suicide bombings - and more - the fears I expressed here (with the qualifier "IF") are justified
First, I appreciate your integrity in posting my comment, rather than burying it.
My friend, there are injustices all around us - some in the name of religion and some in the name of secularism. Most of them are based on politics and not ideology.
If you have a bee in your bonnet about the Taliban etc.; fine. However, do not link events like Margaret Hasan to them when there is no evidence of such. Even Fisk questions it.
Their other actions can be discussed, rejected or condoned. It is the subject of a longer discussion. Your concerns are valid.
