Justice Party?

The lawyers' movement has polarized the nation and has little to show for its efforts. Its efforts to presents itself as a united 'all-parties' front is wearing off. While real judicial reforms are badly needed (the incarcerated accuse in jails cannot afford the 60,000 plus needed to even launch an appeal) by channelizing on an individual (Iftikhar Chaudhry) the movement has inadvertently placed itself against an immovable hurdle.

In a single horse stable one cannot have Musharraf and Chaudhry.

It is about time the eminent leaders, justices, lawyers sit down and decide on launching a nationwide Justice Party.
