process the film
in the darkroom
developer, hypo, wash
see the results
compose and print 
hang them to dry
share the results

progress has robbed us
of the sense of anticipation

now we click
and instantaneously 
see the results
crop, change, re-shoot
the wait
the expectancy, the anticipation
          is gone 
                    forever
