chasing vagaries
motored vistas

misty daybreak
ambushed sunrises

rigor mortis peace
floated as dawn's fog

cars pursued
elusive mileposts

smile to smile
traveled sighs

pauses and
embracing beds
aplenty

tolls paid duly
to stern collectors

fata morgana
spurred

sighs and smiles
slurred
in the stupor
of solecism

sabulous words
awed and gnawed

milepost mirage
kept distance
