Vote for the best six-word memoir

To celebrate the launch of One Life, 6 Words, What's Yours? we have been running a competition for the best memoir on a postcard. The standard has been very high, but after bitter fisticuffs among guardian.co.uk/books staff, a shortlist of seven has been drawn up.
