Osama Bin Laden, Nawaz Sharif and Benazir Bhutto
With nearly two-third majority in his second term, Mr. Nawaz Sharif had his goons turned on the very Supreme Court he now vows to cherish and protect. He was about to introduce legislation that would have drastically altered the fabric of Pakistan in the face of Quaid e Azam’s Aug 11, 1947 speech. He wanted to proclaim himself as Amir ul Momineen. For a change it was good that there not enough “momins” in Pakistan then. How many of you remember that the “Motorway” contract was not given to the lowest bidder – Turkish firm? How much more did he and his cronies pocket in commission and services when he accepted the Korean bid?
