In the past few days we have been hearing rumours that Asif Zardari was on the way out.
Benazir had been confiding with her childhood friends that her marriage was on the rocks. One such friend is reported to have said that she was contemplating separation or divorce with Asif Zardari after the “elections.”
I refrained from public comments on this until now.
What made me change my mind is hearing from others, from Peshawar, Islamabad and Karachi who made similar observations.
This is worth investigating, specially in the light of the “will” that passed the chairmanship of the party to Asif Zardari
