lies serene embers of dormant fury
sequestered by light-less water

when the last straw
of environment’s rape
breaks down..………and tilts
the voluble volcano sounds
………………..go ululating
and once again the animals run
………………..and people
from far off consciences
………………..and continents
come………………..together
