rolled into one
i decided to reason
with their obsession
'all these matches are fixed,'
i said and went on
as elders do in vain
with unlistening youth
at some point my son said
'dad, if i was your father
and was trying to shatter your dreams
how'd you feel?'
i learned and withdrew
