reality
is not real
often
merely an illusion
--a perception decorated
with imbedded prejudices
and ensconced with our fears

another day, another year
will we still feel what we feel now?

the shores of our perception
awashed in self created waves
tend to get out of hands at times
and
frolicking on the serene beach
thousands of miles from our home
or eking hungry subsistence
out of the villages by the sea
mother nature reminds us
of its power of disillusion
